“Build a Better World” art contest winners announced 

   Grand Island, Neb.— The Grand Island Public Library announces the winners from the  Teen “Build a Better World" Art Contest which was sponsored by the Grand Island Library Foundation. The contest was for ages 11-18.

   The results of the contest are:

High School Divison

     -First Place: Ryley Canfield—clay sculpture, "Bucket List"

     -Second Place: Elliot Mila—watercolor, "Zen"

     -Third Place: Jacob Waterman—steel press/spray painted, "The Force Be With You!"

Middle School Division:

     -First Place: Ellie Mora—pencil drawing, "My City"

     -Second Place: Caleb Hayes—clay, "Nintendo Jamboree"

     -Third Place: Elizabeth Sikes—paper mache, "Harry the Spider"

Photography Division:

     -Ellie Mora—photo, "Lookin' Good in Blue"
