Margaret Hornady has been a Grand
Island City Council Member since 2000 where she served as President
in 2005 and 2006. Margi believes in giving back to the community of
Grand Island and has done so by serving in various volunteer
positions throughout the years. She has served on the boards of
Saint Francis Medical Center, Crane Meadows Nature Center, Goodwill
Industries of Greater Nebraska, 4-H National Shooting Sports
Foundation and NET Radio. In addition, she was also the past
Chairperson for the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce. Margi was
named “Women of Distinction” by the YWCA and “Woman of the Year” by
Business and Professional Women. Margi is the Vice President of Hornady Manufacturing Company. She is married to Don David. They have five children and five grandchildren all of whom live in New England. Margaret Hornady Mayor |
