The Grand Island Public Library, providing services through the Edith Abbott Memorial Library and the Hall County Bookmobile, offers free and equal access to services and resources to meet the informational, recreational, and educational needs of the community.

Funding for our library services comes mostly from the general fund of the City of Grand Island. City sales tax receipts help the library with many of its capital needs. The Hall County Bookmobile is funded through a contract with the Hall County Board of Supervisors.

By Nebraska law, all records relating to library patrons and their use of library materials are strictly confidential.
