| Education Pavilion |
Mission-The Education Pavilion was created from the belief that, by joining together in a commitment to enhance cultural understanding, and by providing individuals with the opportunity to learn about their community, we can strengthen the foundation of our relationships and build toward a future of corporation and harmony.
Goals- 1) Provide specific community resource information that is needed and can be used to improve the lives of those around us, with an emphasis on multilingual resources. 2) Provide activities and information to promote unity and community cohesiveness based on the common immigrant experience of our ancestors and current immigration in central Nebraska.
1) The Festival provides one, eight-foot table, an
electrical outlet and
two chairs.
2) Booth assignments will be given Saturday morning based upon the order
of registrations received.
3) Have a poster, sign, or banner to identify your agency/association.
4) Be prepared to display your literature in a secured manner as our
Nebraska climate varies. You can use whatever creative technique you
choose.
5) All items and literature must be removed and stored out of the Pavilion
area overnight.
6) Bring your own sheet of plastic to cover your literature and equipment
in case of daytime rain.
7) We challenge you to incorporate hands on activity or visual display to
attract and involve people to your booth!!
8) No food or beverages including water can be served or sold from your
booth. You may have a thermos or cooler for your personal use.
