 General Hershey Youth Track Program Information
The Hershey Track Program is designed to introduce children between the ages of nine and fourteen to physical fitness.
The program teaches basic running, jumping and throwing skills to the Hershey participants. |
 Progression of Meets
First and second place finishers of the Grand Island local meet automatically qualify for the State meet held at Grand Island Senior High on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Not every state winner advances to the North American Final in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Winners of the state meet are placed in a regional pool of finalist and become eligible to be chosen for the North American Final. Each participant selected for the North American Final receives an all-expense-paid trip to Hershey for four days where a schedule of fun-filled events are enjoyed, including the North American Final Track and Field Meet. |
