Heartland Events Center Board

Fonner Park Exposition and Events Center, Inc. (Heartland Events Center) is a 501 (c) (3) corporation organized under Neb. Rev. Stat. §21-1927, created for the purpose of planning, designing, construction, and financing an agricultural exposition and events center. Annual meetings are held the last Wednesday in July of each year and other meetings are held as needed and determined by the Board of Directors.

During the term of the Agreement between the City and Heartland Events Center, Heartland shall be governed by a Board of Directors consisting of not less than five persons, one of whom is to be nominated by the Mayor of the City and all of which shall be subject to annual approval by the Mayor and City Council. The Board of Directors shall consist of individuals who have no substantial financial interest in the affairs of the corporation.
