Online Resource Center

While you are welcome to use the Edith Abbott Memorial Library during our open hours, you can use our many online services from the comfort of your home, office or mobile device any time, day or night!

Our online catalog allows you to search for books and other library materials and access your account to find out what you have out, any overdues and fines, let you put a hold on a book that is currently checked out, make a book purchase suggestion, etc.

Sometimes searching for information on the Internet results in thousands of useless hits.  Instead of getting frustrated, head over to our online databases to access several authoritative research databases.

We have library users online at all hours of the day making use of our Facebook and Twitter pages.  What a great way to stay informed about library activities and to join the conversation!

Downloading and "checking out" books onto your eBook reader, mp3 player, tablet, smartphone or other device is becoming more and more popular.

Get hold of us with your requests for extra time with one of our librarians, to get live homework help, or to reserve a computer for a specific time.

And take advantage of special book-related services we provide you 24/7!
