Billing Information Monthly Billing
All utility accounts are billed on a monthly basis on actual meter readings when meters are accessible. Water meters that do not have remote reading devices are read quarterly and are minimum estimated on the non-read months. If you would like to have a remote read type water meter, please call our customer service office for a price quote.
Budget billing is available for residential customers that prefer to pay an equal amount each month. Regular monthly readings still occur to make sure the budget amount is accurate. Your monthly statement will show the actual amount billed for each month, and the budget payment that is due. To qualify for the budget billing program, you must 1) Have your account paid in full. 2) Been on our service more than 12 months. 3) Be a residential (single family) customer. The budget amount is based on the average monthly billings for the remaining portion of the calendar year. Our office will review accounts at least twice a year to ensure the budgeted amount is keeping up with actual charges. We notify customer either by mail or email if there ever needs to be an increase or decrease in your budget amount. If two payments are missed in a calendar year the account is removed from budget and is not eligible again until 12 months of on-time payments have been made. We will also notify by mail or email if the account is in jeopardy of removal and if it is removed from the budget billing plan.
