Billing Information Monthly Billing
All utility accounts are billed on a monthly basis on actual meter readings when meters are accessible. Water meters that do not have remote reading devices are read quarterly and are minimum estimated on the non-read months. If you would like to have a remote read type water meter, please call our customer service office for a price quote.
Budget billing is available for residential customers that prefer to pay an equal amount each month. Regular monthly readings still occur to make sure the budget amount is accurate. Your monthly statement will show the actual amount billed for each month, and the budget payment that is due. To qualify for the budget billing program, you must 1) Have your account paid in full. 2) Been on our service more than 12 months. 3) Be a residential (single family) customer. The budget amount is based on the average monthly billings for the remaining portion of the calendar year. The December billing will show the actual balance due or the credit balance whichever the case. The account is settled with the December bill and a new budget amount is set for the next year. Any credits can be used to reduce the next year budget or a refund can be requested.
