Grand Island, Neb. — Grand Island’s favorite summer destination, Island Oasis Water Park, will close for the 2025 season on Sunday, August 10 at 7:30 p.m.
The park has enjoyed another season of splashes, sunshine and family fun, welcoming thousands of visitors to enjoy its wave pool, lazy river, slides, and kid-friendly attractions. As the summer winds down, staff are already looking ahead to preparing the park for the 2026 season.
“We are grateful to everyone who made Island Oasis a part of their summer,” Recreation Superintendent Jeremy Bachmann said. “Our team takes great pride in providing a safe and fun place for families and friends to make lasting memories.”
Island Oasis invites guests to make the most of the remaining days before the season ends. The last chance to swim, slide, and soak up the sun will be Sunday, August 10 with gates closing at 7:30 p.m.
