Community Invited to โ€œCalaveritas en la Cuatroโ€ for Halloween Fun

Grand Island, Neb. โ€” The 4th Street Business Improvement District, in collaboration with the Multicultural Coalition, the Grand Island Creative District and Telemundo/Fiesta 94.5, invites the community to a family-friendly evening of Halloween fun for Calaveritas en la Cuatro on Tuesday, October 28 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Families are encouraged to dress in costume and trick-or-treat along 4th Street and nearby businesses, where local merchants and organizations will hand out candy and treats. The celebration will also include a โ€œTouch-a-Truckโ€ experience in the T-Shirt Engineers parking lot, offering kids the chance to explore a variety of vehicles up close. Participating vehicls families will be able to explore will be coming from the Grand Island Fire Department, Grand Island Police Department, Hall County Sheriffโ€™s Office and Hall County Crime Stoppers.

As part of the festivities, guests are also invited to stop by the Multicultural Coalitionโ€™s Not-So-Scary Haunted Office. This family-friendly fright features treats, decorations and a spookyโ€”but not too spookyโ€”atmosphere thatโ€™s perfect for all ages. The Haunted Office will be open at the Multicultural Coalitionโ€™s Fourth Street location throughout the event.

This collaborative celebration brings together local businesses, nonprofits, and cultural partners to create a safe and festive Halloween experience in the heart of Grand Island.
