Grand Island, Neb. — With the upcoming Presidents’ Day holiday, the City of Grand Island would like to announce various closures.
All of the below departments will be closed on Monday, February 16:
Grand Island City Hall
Utilities Service Center
GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
Wastewater Treatment Plant
City entities that will still be operating under normal hours include:
Solid Waste Facility
Grand Island Public Library (9a-6p)
Grand Island Cemetery Office
Community Fieldhouse
Transit Office
Street & Fleet Office
Jackrabbit Run Golf Course will be opening its driving range only for the day from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The range will continue its normal hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday following the holiday.
