May Art Exhibit

Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Library is proud to showcase the Grand Island Art Club as the featured artist group in the library’s Art Alcove throughout the month of May 2025.

The exhibit is on display until May 30 and features a dynamic collection of paintings, drawings, and mixed media pieces created by local artists. The Grand Island Art Club is a community-based collective representing artists from the Grand Island region.

Rooted in a shared passion for creativity, artistic exploration and community connection, the group’s work reflects a broad spectrum of styles, techniques and perspectives. The exhibit offers visitors a rich visual experience and insight into the diverse talent thriving in the local arts scene.

Community members are encouraged to visit the exhibit during regular library hours. A special reception and artist meet-and-greet will take place on Sunday, May 18 from 1-3 p.m., providing an opportunity to engage directly with the artists and learn more about their creative process.
