Community Art Show

Grand Island, NE – The Grand Island Public Library invites area artists ages 18 and older to display up to three pieces of art in the annual non-juried Community Art Show. 

The submission period for artwork is Wednesday, September 16, through Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The show will be displayed Thursday, October 1, through Friday November 13th, 2026. The Library asks that artists pick up their art between Saturday, November 14 and Saturday, November 21, 2026. 

Registration form and show rules can be picked up at the Library circulation desk or emailed to the artist by contacting Carolina Ramos at 308-385-5333 or carolinar@gilibrary.org . Please contact Carolina if you have any questions about the art show or need alternative drop-off or pick-up times. 

The Grand Island Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property within Hall County is eligible to apply for a library card free of charge. The library also offers a wide range of digital services, educational programs and cultural events for all ages throughout the year.
