Hotel Occupation Tax
THROUGH APRIL 30, 2026: Grand Island City Council approved ordinance No. 8592 on May 23, 2000, this ordinance imposes a 2% occupation tax on persons operating hotels within the City effective July 1, 2000 through April 30, 2026.

BEGINNING MAY 1, 2026: Grand Island City Council approved ordinance No. 10,068 on April 14, 2026, this ordinance imposes a 4% occupation tax on persons operating hotels within the City effective May 1, 2026.
