Grand Island, Neb. ā For a 10th-straight year, several Grand Island Police Department officers will be sporting the color pink during the month of October in a coordinated law enforcement effort to fight breast cancer.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and officers will be wearing pink patches to support women and families battling breast cancer by raising awareness.
