Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Works Department has begun planned work on Macron Street, which will lead to a complete closure of the street from Kay Avenue to Capital Avenue until Monday, June 30.
The closure is to allow crews to continue their work on the Independence Paving Project. The work being done on Macron Street includes the construction of a storm sewer and concrete pavement. The work will be done by the Diamond Engineering Company.
