Grand Island, Neb. ā The Grand Island City Cemetery Office will be offering expanded hours during the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend to better accommodate visitors honoring their loved ones.
The Cemetery Office will be open during the following hours:
Saturday, May 24: 7:30 a.m. ā 4 p.m.
Sunday, May 25: 7:30 a.m. ā 4 p.m.
Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day): 7 a.m. ā 12 p.m.
Visitors are reminded that all memorial decorations not permanently installed in concreteāincluding solar lights, shepherdās hooks and banner/flag holdersāwill be removed beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9 by cemetery staff.
