Grand Island, Neb. — Academy Road North is officially closed from Mirage Street to Baron Lane to accommodate essential utility connection work.
The closure will began on the morning Tuesday, May 20 and is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, June 10. This project, located just west of Central Nebraska Regional Airport and north of the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center, is being carried out by the Diamond Engineering Company.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during this period and to exercise caution in the area. The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these necessary improvements are completed.
