Grand Island, Neb. ā VenuWorks Presents is proud to announce that multi-Platinum country music star Scotty McCreery will perform at the Heartland Events Center on Saturday, January 31, at 7:30 p.m.
Since winning the 10th season of American Idol at just 17 years old, McCreery has become one of country musicās most recognized voices. He made history in 2011 with his debut album Clear as Day, which entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at No. 1, making him both the first country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to achieve this feat.
Now 31, McCreery has sold more than four million albums, earned six No. 1 hitsāincluding the recent āCab in a Soloāāand accumulated multiple Platinum and Gold certifications. His impressive list of accolades includes ACM New Artist of the Year, multiple CMT Music Awards, five BMI Songwriting Awards, and induction into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame last year. Then earlier this year, he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by Josh Turner and Randy Travis, after being invited late last year by Garth Brooks.
McCreeryās latest project, the Scooter & Friends EP, features his newest single āBottle Rocketsā with Hootie & the Blowfish. Beyond music, his impact has extended into books and film, with his song āFive More Minutesā inspiring two Hallmark holiday movies. He was also awarded Pandora Billionaire status in 2021 in recognition of his music achieving more than one billion streams on Pandora.
Tickets start at just $47 and will go on fan club presale beginning Tuesday, September 23 at 10 a.m. Ticketmaster and Heartland Events Center presale will kick off on Wednesday, September 24 at 10 a.m., and they will then go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 26, at 10 a.m.
