Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Library will be closed on Friday, February 6 for a scheduled staff in-service focused on professional development and service improvements.

Library services will resume during regular business hours on Saturday, February 7 at 9 a.m. During the closure, patrons are encouraged to take advantage of the library’s digital resources, including e-books, audiobooks and online databases, which will remain available 24/7 through the library’s website.

The staff in-service allows library employees to participate in training that supports customer service, technology enhancements and operational best practices to better serve the community.
